It is frightfully early, and everything is whisper quiet. The tapping on my keyboard sounds thunderous, this is my time. To think, mull over, and delve into all the creative strings that tug at my heart.

Today’s thought is about how to find the perfect planter boxes for a special flower garden I plan to create along the side of the house. There is a large window that faces the space. The right planter boxes in full bloom will bring the window view to life. The design and height of the planters must be right or I run the risk of the beauty of the space being missed.

My inspiration comes from listening to all the incredible conversations over on The Flower Podcast. My greatest learning from listening to Scott speak to his guests is that flowers can and do change the energy of people’s lives for the better. Having them around, planning what to grow, planning how to grow your chosen plants, and then tending to them right from the moment they enter the soil to cutting them and bringing them into your home.

I was never a green thumb. It was a funny joke in my family. My parents are farmers and can grow the most beautiful flowers, fruits, and vegetables. I, on the other hand, am not as gifted. It won’t stop me from trying. The results if successful, will look delightful.

So forward to the gardening adventure, in the quest to create a pretty flower window. I am looking forward to all the learnings that the garden has to share with me.
